Progressivism Then and Now

Many of you know the Progressive Movement has been around for over a century, having roots that go back to the time of President Grover Cleveland (1893-1897), when political and social reforms were gaining popular support in response to the rapid industrial development of previous decades.  The expansion created poor working conditions, urban deterioration, and social inequities that brought about efforts to improve labor rights, living conditions of the poor and working classes, to prevent big business from exploiting workers, and to curb government corruption.  In the early days, it all seemed so noble.

There were brief eras that championed the cause further, such as Teddy Roosevelt’s administration (1901-1909), dedicated to his “Square Deal” policies that promised fairness to the average citizen, pure food and drugs, breaking of trusts, and regulation of the railroads, even advocating some social welfare programs. [1]  Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) ran on a platform he termed “New Freedom”, which focused on reforms in labor laws, business practices, and banking laws that created the Federal Reserve, while supporting the passage of minimum wage laws and social welfare for the less fortunate.  FDR (1933-1945) pushed his “New Deal” programs that provided relief for the unemployed and farmers seeking economic recovery from the Great Depression.  His multi-term administration saw the enactment of legislation that created the Social Security Administration, the National Labor Relations Act, and the Securities and Exchange Commission, with related agencies for oversight. [2]  Lyndon Johnson (1963-1969) signed the long overdue Civil Rights Act of 1964, although he was inherently racist.  In the interim, progressivism has slowly but steadily eroded the foundations of America’s core values; individual liberty, capitalism, and the freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.  

None of it was “progressive” enough for Barack Hussein Obama (2009-2017).  He is a radical Marxist Islamist who told us just days before he was elected that “we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”. [3]  I have yet to see any account of someone asking what he meant by that.  At this point, it’s rather obvious.  He was not satisfied with gradual reform.  He is determined to radically implement the process of turning America into a communist nation, “by any means necessary”.

I often refer to him as a “lying Jihadi traitor” and find it fairly easy to prove each adjective. 

The Liar

Among numerous other occasions, he knowingly lied about Benghazi in order to protect his campaign seven weeks before Election Day 2012.  Let’s move on.

The Jihadi

He has waged jihad against the United States from Day One in the form known as “by the tongue”.  That was the last nut to be cracked because I wasn’t aware of any alternate “forms” of jihad until January 2015, when I read an article published by the Islamic Supreme Council, titled, Jihad: What It Is Not. [4]  The ISC is a pro-Islamic organization that advances the expansion of Islam.  Jihad basically means to struggle and to strive, but in their zealousness to convince skeptics of what jihad did not mean, they revealed what it was, in all its “forms”.  The most well-known form is “by the sword”.  These are the actual fighters wielding AK-47s, terrorizing non-believers worldwide.  Think of them as the Players on a pro sports team.  There are four other major forms.  Jihad can be “by the hand”, those who directly support and supply the fighters by material means.  Think of them as the Coaches, Equipment Managers, Vendors, etc.  The third form is “by the tongue”, defending Islam and spreading Islam by scholarly lectures, speeches and debates from positions of stature, like Obama.  Think of them as the home team Sports Announcers and Cheerleaders.  The fourth form is known as “by the pen”, those who promote scholarly research in aiding the spread and defense of Islam.  Think of them as the Sportswriters and League Representatives.  The fifth form is “by the heart”, by far the most populous, those who wish to see the advancement of Islam, or the Fans of the team.

Ironically, the Qu’ran says that those (Muslims) who sit at home and do not risk their own lives in the struggle, are not deemed equal to those who fight.  In other words, those “by the heart” Muslims who cheer on every terrorist attack from their living rooms, are considered lower class Muslims in the eyes of Allah.  And yet those peaceful Muslims are apparently comfortable knowing they are lower class believers.

The Traitor

John Brennan, then Assistant to the President for Homeland Security, received a letter, dated October 19, 2011, signed by 57 Muslim organizations that essentially complained about the “unfair profiling” of men of Arab descent.  At that time, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was monitoring a list of terrorist suspects in a computer program developed by Philip Haney of Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).  Simultaneously, the FBI was maintaining a database in their Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) that listed “persons of interest” who had surfaced on their radar.  Meanwhile, over at the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA, Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley was teaching a pre-approved course that was training officers about to be deployed to the Middle East on Islamic cultures.  In the Spring of 2012, within a few weeks of each other, the Department of Homeland Security was ordered to scrub their TECS System list, the Department of Justice ordered the FBI to cease profiling of suspected terrorists, and Lt. Col. Dooley was ordered to cease teaching his course by the Department of Defense.  All three of those cabinet level Directors had the same boss.  That’s when I knew there was a traitor in the White House. [5]

By the way, the Boston Marathon bombing (Apr 15, 2013), the San Bernadino mass murder attack (Dec 2, 2015), and the Orlando nightclub massacre (Jun 12, 2016) were all committed by suspected terrorists who were on the watch lists.  Phil Haney testified that all of those attacks could have been prevented.  He was found dead of a gunshot wound on a park bench in Amador County, east of Sacramento, CA, on Feb 21, 2020.  His death was officially ruled a suicide two years later, but who goes out to a park to commit suicide?  I believe most suicides are committed within the home.  

The RussiaGate Conspiracy The recent revelation that Obama himself, directed his intelligence officials to write a revised Intelligence Assessment Report that contradicted the existing report, in an effort to support the knowingly false Russian collusion allegations schemed by the Hillary Clinton campaign in December 2016, a treasonous conspiracy at the highest level of government, only strengthens the claim.

When the shock of Trump’s victory sunk in, Obama decided he could subvert Trump’s administration by rallying his Democrat loyalists to resist everything Trump tried to accomplish, from blocking legislation, to smearing his Supreme Court nominations with phony allegations, to spying on his campaign officials based on the bogus Steele dossier, to constant attacks from the Propaganda Media Complex, much of it complete bold-faced lies.  They tried to remove him from office with two impeachments; one on his claims of voter fraud, and another based on his attempt to investigate the corruption of Vice President Biden’s bribery of the Ukrainians unless they fired the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma.  By the time of the transition period, Obama had installed many of his 30,000+ member army of activists throughout the federal bureaucracy and they were proficient at “gumming up the works” in nearly every agency.  When the 2020 election cycle came around they schemed a way to steal the election via mail-in ballots under the guise of safety from the COVID pandemic, illegally breaking existing state election laws to relax collections and tabulations, and blame him for a government induced “insurrection”.

Then when Trump decided to run again in 2024, they burdened him with frivolous lawfare in four separate jurisdictions, attempting to tie him up in court and bankrupt his family, deplatformed him on social media, tried to have his name removed from several state ballots, and tried to assassinate him, twice.

Now, nine months into his second term, the left incessantly calls Trump a corrupt dictator on par with Hitler, while Obama continues to call all the shots to this day.  Isn’t it odd that the Democrat Party, the so-called ”progressives” who were fervently opposed to government corruption, are now thee most corrupt politicians in American history?

For more on Obama’s background, check out my two-part series “The Socialist Agenda of Alinsky and Obama”.  Now that we know a fair characterization of the man some say was the “Manchurian Candidate”, we can dig a little deeper into his ultimate objective, the destruction of the United States and takeover by the Muslim Brotherhood, using a communist agenda to gain control of the reins of power.  We know he is a lying Jihadi traitor, but he is much more sinister than that.  I am convinced he is a megalomaniac who believes he is Muhammad reincarnate and will do anything to effect his predicted “fundamental transformation” of America during his lifetime.  Islamists are generally playing the long-game with time on their side.  Obama isn’t as patient.

We have already witnessed the depths of his depravity, despite any acknowledgement from the media, or legal consequences.  One of his “shields” is playing the race card to declare himself “untouchable”.  Jihadis hide behind the “shield” of religion, an Islamic stratagem, one that Obama is well versed in.  Perhaps the recent “RussiaGate” scandal will finally bring him to justice, but that remains to be seen.

Have you noticed that Zohran Mamdani, an admitted Muslim (Jihadi) and avowed “socialist”, is almost certainly going to fool enough useful idiots to win the mayoral race in New York City?  They have another Muslim candidate in the Minneapolis mayoral race, Omar Fateh.  Dearborn, Michigan is a Muslim stronghold.  Muslims are winning elections all over.  They talk about socialism and are backed by the unofficial leadership of the Democrat Party, but socialism is a slippery slope.  The difference between socialism and communism is about six months.  The difference between communism and Islamism will be less, because no effective opposition means no resistance.

We Are Witnessing Their Game Plan Right Now

Back in October 2024, there was an exposė published by The Highland Press titled, “Is the Left Preparing for War if Trump Wins?”.  It was written by Lee Smith and the gist of it was that an Obama appointed operative within the Pentagon, named Rosa Brooks, conducted war games back in the Summer of 2020, wherein they assumed Trump would refuse to concede power and violence from his supporters would ensue.  Leading up to the election of 2024, the team reassembled with help from “journalist” Barton Gellman, under the auspices of the Democracy Futures Project (DFP), part of the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University.  The results on how their operatives were to conduct post-election operations were published in four separate articles on July 30, 2024.

As Smith said, “Brooks and her cohort ignore the evidence of Biden and Harris’s abuse of power and assert that it is Trump who will who use the federal government against his opponents . . . The forecasts read like paranoid fantasy, but they’re carefully scripted inversions of reality meant to rewrite history and obscure the crimes of the Left that have shaken the pillars of the republic.”

Further, “ . . . the post-election playbook calls for (or takes for granted) widespread violence so intense that the president invokes the Insurrection Act.”

The plot involves an attempt to split the loyalties within the senior ranks of the military, forcing them to choose between obeying their Commander-in-Chief and upholding their oaths to defend the Constitution against what they portray as a dictatorship akin to Hitler.  Never mind their own fascist tactics.  They have all been instructed to call Trump “Hitler”, virtually in unison. Surely, I’m not the only one who has been watching violent protests popping up in cities across the country, like L.A., Portland, Chicago, and elsewhere, as ANTIFA foot soldiers are deployed on demand to create chaos and anarchy. 

What are they protesting?  Trump’s legal authority to deport violent illegal aliens using ICE and National Guard troops where needed to protect federal agents.  They don’t give a rat’s ass about American citizens in their own communities as long as violent illegal aliens aren’t harassed.  It’s right out of the Cloward-Piven playbook, a communist strategy to overwhelm the welfare system by creating chaos through a massive increase in claimants (open borders = millions of illegal aliens) designed to overwhelm as many other systems as possible, simultaneously (health care, schools, law enforcement), in order to effect political reforms like minimum wages and income redistribution.  Sound familiar?  Obama’s fingerprints are all over it.

This is the war for America, being waged right now.  It is a battle that Patriots cannot afford to lose, as our children and grandchildren hang in the balance.  What is the best way to seal our victory?

By cutting off the head of the snake.  Make no mistake, one man is their Supreme Leader, and he has already committed treasonous acts against the United States.  The most promising conviction would be to charge him on the RussiaGate allegations.  The evidence is nearly impossible to dispute, and the only way I see to preserve America’s republic is to imprison their leader.  He may be able to conduct business from behind bars, but his credibility would be severely damaged and the last time I check (just now), the penalty for treason is death.  The snake might twitch for a few minutes, but with a severed head, it’s only a matter of time.

NOTE: As the statute reads, it could be interpreted that the United States must be actively engaged in a declared war for the statute to be charged against a defendant.  However, at the time Obama had his cabinet Secretaries order the scrubbing of names from the terrorist watch lists, the United States was engaged in active combat in Afghanistan and was in the process of pulling out of Iraq.  The terrorist forces in control have repeatedly chanted “Death to America” and have openly declared war against the U.S.  I would argue that qualifies as an “enemy” and any act that “adheres” to their objectives could be considered treason.
